Due to the current conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, FADSA , Florida Adult Day Services Assn has closely monitored the spread of COVID-19. At this time, as our State braces to handle this global pandemic, we wanted to take a moment to share some insight we believe is particularly important at such a challenging time.

We fully support the current measures and initiatives taken by the public and private sectors to cancel events and adopt procedures that lower the risk of a greater outbreak in our community, and country.

Our NADSA National Adult Day Services Assn, Chamber and Governmental affiliations afford us worldwide capabilities that few state organizations possess, encompassing Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Through this expansive network we have followed the COVID 19 situation since it’s beginning in Asia and have positioned ourselves as a resource to be available to our communities locally, regionally, nationally and internationally as the need arises. We respectfully express solidarity with all of our partners at home and abroad.

As a organization, tasked with providing assistance to our elderly constituents and with a commitment to social responsibility, FADSA has participated on COVID-19 Task Forces and activities involving officials on the municipal, state and national level officials and other relevant stakeholders.

We see our responsibility in 2 phases:

The first phase is to assist in disseminating accurate official information in a responsible manner to arrest contamination; the second phase will be to assist businesses in our association in the recovery efforts in the weeks and months to come.

FADSA would like to reassure our community that with calm and resolve we will get thru this crisis together.

Thank you.
